MAP is a year-round, after-school development program that engages over 400 high-school youth throughout the city of Memphis. The program’s curriculum and activities focus on developing leadership, increasing college and career readiness, cultivating civic and community engagement, and teaching life skills and financial literacy.
Data Works has worked to design and maintain the program’s data collection tools to aid program personnel in tracking service delivery and client progress, as well as provide technical assistance and support to program personnel to ensure accurate data collection.
To assess the quality of services and effectiveness of the program’s activities, Data Works designed and administered student and caregiver surveys and collects relevant student data for process and outcome evaluations.
These data are used to promote program quality, measure efficacy, and meet program standards, goals, and objectives. Data Works prepares and submits quarterly and annual reports to inform key personnel of the program’s effectiveness and improve student outcomes.
