Project NanoSTEM and NanoZoo Connect, Memphis Zoological Society, 2011 – 2013

October 31, 2013

Project NanoSTEM and NanoZoo Connect were educational programs that worked to bring information about science and nanotechnology to local students, as well as students in rural areas in Tennessee.

Data Works, LLC designed and maintained data collection tools to aid program personnel in tracking service delivery and client progress; designed formative and summative assessments to measure clients’ knowledge acquisition; and designed surveys to solicit customer feedback and gauge satisfaction for continuous quality improvement.

Data Works, LLC conducted both process and outcome evaluations to promote program quality, measure efficacy, and meet program standards, goals, and objectives.

Finally, we submitted quarterly and annual reports to inform key personnel of the program’s effectiveness in improving students’ knowledge of nanotechnology and interest in STEM-related careers.
